The following information forms our terms & conditions of purchasing through Del’s Choccy Boxes.

Please remember when ordering, that chocolate products are perishable and will melt in heat. Please see the refunds section below for more information.

Payments

Payments must be made through the website using our card processing partner, PayPal.

You are able to use the following cards to pay through PayPal:

Visa, Debit Card, MasterCard, Maestro Card, Visa, American Express, Electron, Euro Card or Delta.

Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to pay by this method – although you will be given the option to set one up during the payment process.

For your security we do not take telephone orders. PayPal uses secure servers and Del’s Choccy Boxes have no access to any credit or debit card data.

Please note that PayPal defaults to the address of the cardholder as their ‘Send to’ address. We will deliver to the ‘Delivery Address’ given during the checkout process on our website.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are purchasing for multiple recipients with different delivery addresses please place individual orders.

Shipping

Gifts are dispatched in plain cardboard boxes and we try to ensure your gift arrives in perfect condition by using appropriate sized boxes and padding materials where necessary. Please see below for details of our refund policy should your item arrive damaged.

UK Delivery is available throughout mainland UK. We use various courier services in the process of delivering your order. All quoted prices on this website (https://gifts.choccyboxes.co.uk) include delivery costs. Including dispatch time, delivery will normally be within 4 – 5 days from the date of order however this may be longer if delivery overlaps the weekend.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure timely dispatch on these orders, for reasons stated in our Refund Policy below (and due to changes in services by the various delivery companies we use during the Corona virus pandemic), there may be occasions delivery may take longer than we anticipate, Choccy Boxes cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery in these circumstances.

Additional Info

Whilst Del’s Choccy Boxes aim to keep the website up to date, there may be occasions when we do not have a certain product in stock. In these instances we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of the situation. You be given the option of selecting a new product or cancelling your order and receiving a full refund.

Refund Policy

For goods damaged in transit, you’ll need to return your order to us before we can issue a refund. Your order, and all of the individual products contained within it, must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. That is, sealed and in it’s original packaging.

The cost of returning the order is the buyers responsibility and any refund is subject to £5 administration charge per gift. We recommend you use a ‘Signed For’ service when returning any package to us.

You must contact us before initiating a return. This must be within 5 days of receiving the order. Refunds will be issued after we have received the item and have found it to be in the same condition it was dispatched in.

Choccy Boxes cannnot be held liable for any refunds of postage in circumstances that are beyond our control. This can include, but is not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God (such as floods, storms, snow, etc.), acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts or civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
